Cannabis inspires through the body. Specifically the womb. The inspiration is felt through the womb and translated by the mind in the language of words and pictures. There's a biological explanation through the endocannabinoid system, but it goes beyond biology and the intellect into that which is currently unexplainable. The vagus nerve feels like a good start to making sense and better understanding of what is going on though. What we know as the vagus nerve bears a really strong resemblance to what the ancient scriptures across Eastern cultures and religions have documented. Some teachers talk about the dangers of waking up the Kundalini serpent without being ready or without having a trained guide. Cannabis is a powerful guide through what feels like a Kundalini awakening. Learning how to best channel the energy is one of the plant's primary teachings...and probably why there is a strong link between cannabis and creativity. Many of the world's greatest artists have a relationship with cannabis. She's there to guide you inwards to better understand yourself, even if and when others don't. She's there to help you strengthen your focus in the present moment and to trust in your path no matter what it looks like from the outside in...because the truth is that freedom is found from the inside out. Our biological receptors are part of a communication pathway. There is a form of communication being expressed through our biological receptors from the body to the mind. The practice of cannabis and sex is an opportunity for the body to produce the universal chemical of DMT from the womb, the messages being transported upwards through the vagus nerve. When the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems are both activated, a state of homeostasis can be experienced. Fear might be felt, but the activation of the parasympathetic system helps us to feel calm and safe in the feeling of fear....rather than listening and acting only on the primal fight or flight response where the urge to run away has previously been the dominant message. The sexual experience reveals ancient, universal, primal fears as well as a rediscovery of deeply ancient, universal bliss and joy. Who knows what is really going on in this life and at the end of the day, no one really knows anything. The primal fear of realising that I know nothing... and discovering peace within that realisation is a felt experience, where the only way forward is to surrender to the present moment. It's in life's synchronistic moments through interactions, signs, symbols, numbers, songs, books, specific humans coming into your life...any unexplainable 'coincidences' which are all forms of communication and confirmation that there is meaning and purpose to your life -and that can be whatever you choose it to be...unless it was chosen before you came into this life. Life's a mystery! The best synchronicities of all are the moments that appear as completely insignificant to someone else, but to you, and knowing what you've received via your imagination what you're envisioning, and you're open and receptive to putting the pieces of the puzzle together, a seemingly meaningless or small synchronicity holds so much significance... it's in these pure golden moments that makes life so fulfilling and exciting!
